Grace Christian Worship Centre was birthed on the 25th of May 2001, with only 5 people in a household kitchen of the founder in Atteridgeville, South Africa. When Bishop Rose Baloyi started the church, all she had was a Word and a dream to transform the nation. From the very small beginning, the name they used was Charisma Christian Church but in 2005 the name was officially changed to Grace Christian Worship Centre. Later there was another move to a tent that accommodated 60 people and five years later in 2010 by the grace of God the number of people further increased, as a result, the church had to purchase a larger tent that holds a capacity of 300 people. After having to settle in a tent there was also a silent hunt of a stable and permanent stand where there would be a proper settlement, so the church was again moved to a land they had been waiting for and the place they found accommodated about 1000 people. The most miraculous that had ever happened in church history was that the church got to be built in a space of four weeks.
Bishop Rose Baloyi is the founding pastor of Grace Christian Worship Centre and her passion is to see changes in the lives of people and to lead them into complete deliverance and understanding of who they are in Christ. The Lord is using her especially to inspire and propel people into their next level in God where they start using the authority that is on them as a believer and operates in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Bishop Rose Baloyi, together with other visionary continues to carry the power of the gospel to many places in helping believers discover their destiny, purpose, and authority. We believe that God has called us to activate this generation in God's supernatural power and the best is yet to come!
